What the Hell? It's not like you to give up so easily!!! It's only been a week! How are your 15 veiwers supposed to spread the word in only a week? Some of us watch just to get a pick me up and to see your face everyday - we don't exactly live close to you - You need to think about some of the other reasons for the broadcast - not just your original purpose... And so what if you have a short term memory and feel like a crazy person - We LOVE that about you! Please don't give up so easy
Hey, Joan..I would really miss seeing you everyday, this blog is one of the first sites I open in the morning, I love seeing Sam also..:).... But, if you cannot get the support you need, well, you did your best...cheers.. :)
Boo hoo ... you're making me CRY! I know that the Bucketlist hasn't served it's intended purpose but it has DEFINITELY been enjoyed. I look forward to seeing you every day. Short term memory loss, dementia, whatever you want to call it ... it's YOU and that's what I tune in for. Things like this take time.
Here's something that I did today. It's pancake Tuesday so the school cafeteria was offering pancakes for lunch at the school. I think it was something like $1.50 for two pancakes. Anyways, her teacher and I decided that not every child was going to be able to have pancakes because either their parents don't have $1.50 to spare or just don't give a shit. So she brought in an electric griddle this morning and we cooked up pancakes for the whole class - just to make sure nobody was left out. Although this wasn't something that was on anyone's bucket list, I think it was done in the "bucket spirit" so to speak. I know the kids got a real kick out of!
I was going to offer to do the Bucketlist Newfoundland broadcast tomorrow morning (Wed) and on every Wed. I won't be able to get it on as early as JJ but it should be done by about 9:30 my time.
Maybe if we take turns like JJ suggested we can keep this going. JJ put alot of work into it to get it up and running and it'd be a sin to see it fold this early in the game.
I agree with others. I watch you daily too, don't always leave a comment, but I doo enjoy watching. Atleast you are getting people thinking about the point of the bucketlist, that's a start. Hey, I've ridden Dex 3 times in the past 9 days because I'm determined to accomplish what I set out to do.
Maybe you could do a couple broadcasts a week instead of everyday. Stick with it for a little while :)
Joan, we love you. I personally don't tune in because of the bucket list but just to see what you are up to and your view on things!!!!! I was just telling the girls at work about you and your bucket list and how funny you are. Maybe broadcast once or twice a week??????? Kim D.
I am a bit dissappointed to think that we may not be able visit with you every day, JJ. Would you consider a weekly broadcast?? Although we may be small in numbers, I think I can speak for almost everyone when we say that we admire what you have started and appreciate the effort put into it.
Just to let you know...Moonshadow saw my bucketlist "want to" and sent me a link to a Great Britain based forum...to put me a bit closer to the Irish Mist, you see. I joined the forum and already have acquired some new acquintances...it is a start. A long journey begins with a single step!!!
I also had a senior lady friend who really wanted to have a card party...a simple thing but a bit too much for her to prepare for so I helped set up her tables and helped prepared "little dainties" for the other ladies to eat..etc Nothing big but it was something she really appreciated and it made me feel really good to think that just that small thing made her so happy.
I am sorry if you think that you have not made an impact...because you have. I think we all need a push from time to time and I am glad that you have tried to nudge us with your blog.
I'm with everyone else on here...although I can understand how hard it's got to be to come up with new material every morning.. (Hell even the pros, have writers..lol) So It would be nice if you could at least do a bi weekly bit, and maybe some us could send you tid bits of things going on in our lives, so you can use them adding your own charming spin. I do enjoy your morning banter, but for some reason I can't always get the damned You tube thingy to work. BUT I think I'm all caught up now on all the shows.. It would be unfair of us to ask you to do all the work. But as long as you are on the air I'm watching! The Bucket wishes part might take time to materialize... give it some time.
WELL, way to go Freeva with the old gal and her card party........thats exactly what this is for and Tammy with the pancakes and the kids at school......I guess its more the pass it forward thing than bucketlist, but WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO if we can do ANYTHING FOR ANYONE.

I just reread my post. Just so there isn't any confusion, "her" is refering to Kayla and "she" is refering to her teacher!
way to go with the pancake thingy Tammy.............and Cindyrelly......good for you kiddo...........
