Gee I missed being able to see the broadcast every day. Kayla and I have been in the big city since Thurs night because the roads were too slippery to come home (plus I LOVE skipping school!). Thanks for the message for Kayla. They also made an announcement at school this morning. I think it's great that the kids get the recognition after spending so much time dedicated to their sport. If you can imagine a 7 year old spending 4 hrs in the gym 3 times a week training. Plus in our case an hour travel each way. Kayla does her homework in the car while we travel. When the kids are training they go at it hard (and have fun doing it). Halfway through the training session they get a 10 minute break for snack. It's amazing to see these young ones in action. They are focused and determined. They are trained to face their fears and come out on the other side of them. At any given time you can usually see one of them working out at the gym with a cast on, feet or wrists taped. The lessons they are learning through this sport will serve them well throughout their lives. I am so proud of Kayla! Now if I could only figure out the damn camera!
Hey Joan, couldn't get this yesterday so just got home from work and watched it first thing. Very entertaining....good idea to keep everyone up-to-date on just randomness....oh and I love your singing.
